Beth Pollack

Research Scientist

Beth Pollack is a research scientist at MIT studying infection-associated chronic illnesses. She leads research on their overlaps and shared pathophysiology, which includes connective tissue disorders, in MIT’s Tal Research Group. Beth served as chair of the ME/CFS Less Studied Pathologies Subgroup and as member of the ME/CFS Research Roadmap Working Group at the National Institutes of Health, co-developing a national plan to advance research on the illness towards clinical trials. She currently works/collaborates on three clinical studies on infection-associated chronic illnesses, which includes research on hypermobility and connective tissue disorders.
