Mary Steckner

Committee Member

Mary Steckner is a long-time volunteer with EDS Canada Foundation who has provided administrative support at in-person conferences, provided website updates and co-led a community support group. Drawing on her previous work experience as a case manager for individuals with special needs and providing reference service at public libraries, Mary brings understanding, organizational and advocacy skills to her volunteer roles with EDS Canada. As someone who lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes, she has first-hand experience with the challenge of balancing the management of a chronic health condition while living life to the fullest.
